Unique items from Carl-Axel Valens Foundation

For 25 years, between 1966-1991, Carl-Axel (1928-2010)successfully ran Gallery Narva and Aix Gallery in Stockholm. He associated with several artists and cooperated and funded several art projects with them. Erik Hoglund was one of those artists.
When Erik Höglund in 1991 at a big glas art show at The Prince Eugene's Waldemarsudde did what is sometimes referred to as his second sensational breakthrough in Swedish glass art, bought Carl-Axel many of the colorful and technologically advanced unique pieces from the show. These pieces are managed today by Carl-Axel Valéns Foundation which is based in Eskilstuna. The foundation awards annual scholarships in various artistic fields, The Erik Hoglund scholarship in the glass and / or metal. Several of the beautiful pieces from the Waldemarsudde exhibition is now on sale, so as to become part of the capital Carl-Axel wanted to generate back to the artists.
Erik Hoglund ArtShop has been entrusted to convey the sale. For further information please contact: info@ErikHoglundArtShop.se
